If you are looking for fame out of innovation and also hoping to save important resources like money and time, then you need to consider apparel screen printing at home. Of course, you will need to be patient with the process. Nevertheless, you will be happy when you get praises for the woven-mesh printed t-shirts. Be careful though that you make the design as simple but detailed.

Start by copying your design onto a transparent paper. Carefully check your transparent copy because the final print on the T-shirt will look like this. After this, you should build a woven-mesh printer. You can buy a pre-made one from an art store, so that you are able to print your design.

Across the frame, stretch your woven-mesh printer, using nails or staples to make it secure. This step will only be necessary if you create the woven-mesh printer yourself. It is always less costly if you create a it from scratch. Ensure that woven mesh is securely tightened.

The next step is to transfer the design onto the screen. It may seem a little difficult and costly as well. A photo emulsion kit will be necessary at this point, and you can buy one from an art store.

The emulsion kit comes with set of instructions which will be very handy in your quest to transfer the design to the woven-mesh printer. The instructions will guide you in the transfer process. You will also require heat from a light bulb which should be at least 150 watts.

The next step is to wash the image from the screen. Of importance to note is that you will only wash away the parts that you do not require. Because the chemicals used for crating the design are scorched into the woven mesh; you should use lukewarm water at a low pressure. Alternatively, a sprayer at the kitchen sink can work perfectly.

Place a cardboard inside the t-shirt and the woven-mesh printer on top of it. Press everything out as you work on the hard surface. Pour the ink on the screen. The ink color can be colored or black depending on what you want.

Using a squeegee or wiper, pull the ink to bottom over the woven-mesh printer. You will immediately see your image right there on your T-shirt. Check carefully to make sure the image is transferred. Hang the T-shirt to dry and let the ink to dry completely. When it has dried up, lay it flat on an ironing board and placing a white paper over the screen print, iron it for 4-5 minutes in order to set the ink in place on the shirt.

The art of apparel screen printing is quite crafty. Woven mesh printing can give rise to intricate and exquisite designs on clothing. In case you are planning to print your own apparels, you must be able to have the knowledge on removing the screen print in the event of an error. Capturing an error fast enough will aid in avoiding the loss of any clothing during the procedure.
